Woman’s 1939 Ivory Wedding Gown and Beaded Tiara

Up for bid is a Woman’s 1939 Ivory Wedding Gown and Beaded Tiara. This beautiful wedding dress was my mothers and she was married in it in 1939. The dress is ivory satin in color; and I estimate it to be a size 10-12, measuring approximately 19” armpit to armpit and a 30” waist. It has long gathered sleeves with slight padding at the top and the bottom of the sleeves taper to a “V“ with snap closure. It has a sweetheart neckline with 16 covered buttons with loop closure down the front. There is a long train that gathers up and is held with loop on the wrist. The gown has a ivory floral design. The veil was gorgeous at one time, but through the years it has discolored and is falling apart. I do have the beaded tiara, which I will include. The gown will need dry cleaning if you decided to wear it. It was truly a beautiful gown and I have included pictures of my mother in it on her wedding day.
