Approx. 18.5" x 12.5" x 5". Authentic wooden crate from the early days of Northwestern Beverages Company, a distributing company that handled many different soda labels-most no longer in production. Wonderful rustic, industrial look for your storage. Wood is in great shape for the age and the bands are tight.
Northwestern Beverage Company was in business from approximately 1930 through 1985. It was a family-owned soft drink bottling company featuring 30 different varieties of soda pop. For most of the years, it bottled its products in 32 oz. bottles, but in the earlier years, it offered 16 oz. bottles (Half Quart) . This is one of the EARLY soda crates, for Half Quart bottles. It has "Half Quarts" on the outside end panels and the Northwestern Beverage Company Name/Logo and Phone Number : SP-2-5600, Chicago. Some of the sodas they distributed were -- Peacock, Doc’s Diet, Montreal ("THE ALL AMERICAN DRINK"), Brown Derby, Seltzer bottles and more .

CONDITION:
Old crate, wood is age darkened, fresh chip of wood missing on top divider, in the middle. Dings and dents and some old gouges. Industrial usage, this was a working item. Great graphics remain, on 5 sides. (includes one inside panel) Metal band trim has little to no rust.
