Up for Sale:  A fabulous TRUE Mid Century 1950's Wedding Dress.   This dress was custom made  for the bride in 1954 in Midwest Illinois.  Her marriage lasted 67 years, so this dress has great Karma!   It is a  princess style skirt with 3 layers of netting over a silky underlining skirt.  Full length for a shorter bride, 3/4 length for the taller bride.  The top is bodice cut and sewn as shown,  fitted to the figure with a v-neck and wide shoulders.  The sleeves are long with over the hand points and buttons up each side.  It has material covered metal buttons, 30 of them for closure up the back.  The lace is decorated in rainbow sequins around the top and down the lace points on the skirt.   Shows light wear from one time use.   The dress has been soaked and cleaned in "Eucalan" no rinse delicate wash and laid out under the sun to dry for brightness.  Some very very light fading from age, nothing that detracts from the dress.   No rips, tears or stains.     This is a non-returnable item, so ask any questions prior to purchase.   The dress will be shipped folded, so may need steaming or ironing upon arrival.
