Description
Lovely True Vintage Satin and Lace panel Wedding Dress, style dating to the 1930's. Stand up lace over satin collar, with two satin covered buttons at the back. 22 large satin covered buttons, with satin button loops down the front. Split front opening. Shown in our pictures over black to demonstrate detail. The dress is accompanied by a Vampy satin under dress, with string straps, and low cut back.
Measurements are as follows:
~Neck opening 16"
~Waist 26"
~Shoulders measured sleeve to sleeve 13"
~Bust 34" measured under the arms
~ Length at the back, neck to hem 60".
~Sleeves 26" to point.
All in good vintage condition, lace net ground is quite frail from age. Some mends in lace, hard to see. Small holes here and there in net backing. Inside back lower panel is lightly soiled. One underarm lightly stained inside. Very faint aging to the satin in some areas. Under dress is in very nice condition.  See pictures for details.
With the raised collar, lightly puffed sleeves, and gathered satin bodice, this dress exemplifies the 30's era. Ideal as display. If to be worn, lace should be stabilized with net backing.  The ensemble is priced accordingly.
