Size 4 Wedding Dress - Exquisite 1960s Chantilly Lace Bridal Detachable Train

Description

Very fine details! This classic mid-1960s wedding gown has a Chantilly lace bodice with half-sleeves and a high standing collar. Its lace is hand-appliqued to meander a bit over the bias-cut Empire waistband for a trompe l'oeil effect. A-line skirt and train are both organza encasing an opaque taffeta lining. The detachable train is dotted with lace appliques, has a squared hem and trails about 3-4 feet behind the bride. Original 0.00 tag attached from over forty years ago.

Never worn, lovely condition, the sides of the skirt have a scant hint of ecru/gray discolor, this is hard to notice at all, definitely not a detraction

Dry clean in a net bag, preferably by a cleaner experienced with vintage clothing
