    Description

Original American Flyer Engineering Drawing Blueprint for Postwar Stock Car
    Nice rare piece.
American Flyer factory original drawing from the American Flyer Archives of the AC Gilbert Company.  Became part of the Lionel Company Archives when Lionel purchased the American Flyer line in 1967, then becoming part of Lionel CEO Richard Kughn's private toy collection when he bought the Lionel company in 1986.  Most recently it was owned by Gary Clark, prominent Flyer collector.
This piece was used in the production process.  The initial sketch appears to have been copied and then employees / engineers have made pencil additions / corrections.  These pencil revisions are dated 1958.
Comes in protective plastic sleeve.  Will be mailed rolled with bubble wrap in a box.
    Drawing measures roughly 36" x 24"
**All of our items are sold as-is - "As-is" means you are bidding based on the pictures and the description.  If we state in the description that something is "Running" or "Working" that is what you will receive.  If we state something is "Untested" that means we have not tested the item so we do not know its functionality.  When we have locomotives to sell we frequently sell them as "Untested" because we have to handle all gauges, all ages, and all different types of functions and we're just not able to test everything.  We provide the best description we can but we're not experts in everything we sell - please view all pics, what you see is what you get.  We are happy to accept returns for any items that are not as described or as pictured.**
Bright spots in photos are due to camera flash.
