This is a design type which always receives strong attention from collectors when offered. The 00 denomination is highly scarce with regard to large-size type and these 1918 Federal Reserve Notes are virtually the only way to obtain them for a price under six figures regardless of grade. We have an extensive selection--grades right up to AU 53 EPQ! The present note shown offers inks throughout the face and back designs. The note shows one of the more appealing depictions of our national bird at the center of the back with spread wings and talons clutching our nation's flag. The note is importantly free from any apparent defects as most of these high end rarities have been restored to some extent. The note owns still heavy body in the paper stock not seen in most 1918 Fr. 1133 noted any finer drastically escalates in price.
