This magnificent exquisitely and ornately hand-embroidered antique ivory Princess lace cathedral length wedding veil is truly a work of art.  It is as close to pristine as you can get for a delicate confection most probably dating back to the late 1800’s or very early 1900's.  It is in amazingly outstanding vintage condition with absolutely no holes, tears, or stains.  Its lush and intricate pattern of meandering flowers, leaves, and scrolling adorns an ethereal backdrop of fine as a whisper
tulle
netting, and its entire border is ornately scalloped.  While many lace veils of this period share the floral, leaf, and scroll patterning, this veil also has wedding bows interspersed throughout, making it truly special.
This ungathered single layer veil has a long asymmetrical oval shape.  It is much wider at the bottom than it is at the top.  It is approximately 115" long and 63" wide at its widest point.
This museum quality veil is an heirloom piece for the purist lace collector, and it has been stored carefully for years in what appears to have been archival acid-free tissue paper.
