    An advertising specialty item from Blair & Co. (banking), 33 Wall Street, New York, ca. 1915.
    A 173 page book of telegraph codes that travelers could use to save money. Telegraphing of that time was based on the number of characters in the message. Based on
    Lieber's Standard Telegraphic Code,
    characters would be at a minimum and saved money for the sender.
    Blair & Co. issued these code books to their clients who had letters of credit with the bank and traveling internationally.
    The book is made of tooled red leather with gilded page ends.  Measures 3 1/2" x 5"
