    Description

This detailed Barrington Town Hall Ornament was designed by me and manufactured right here in Rhode Island! These are NEW/OLD STOCK from my personal
    stock
    .
This is not a cheap gold flashed import!
    History:
The Town of Barrington RI purchased land on Prince's Hill for 00 in 1887 and set aside ,000 for construction.  Architects of Stone, Carpenter and Wilson were hired and the first stone was set by Charles Erastus Smith five months later.  The building was completed in 1888 at the cost of 997.05 and the grand sum of .95 was returned to the town.  Local stones were asked to be donated for construction and lines of Barrington residents
hand delivered tons of the towns best that were
mixed with chipping from Plymouth Rock.  This explains the
    Plymouth Rock
    weathervane on the South Steeple.
This ornament, and all my ornaments, was made here in Rhode Island to the highest
    jewelry standards. Etched on
    20 gauge
half hard 60/40 brass, then plated in heavy nickel before being TRIPLE gold plated! The first ornaments I made in 1988 still shine like the day I made them. The series of Historic Ornaments that I have created are widely collected and I have seen them being resold years later on Ebay for big $'s.
I will soon be adding more than 20 different Lighthouses and State Capitals from around the country here on Ebay, so be sure to save my listings so you can buy them directly from me, the designer and manufacture.
    thnx
