Vintage 40s Sheer Ivory Lace Wedding Dress - Bridal Gown XS S
Fitted waist, long sheer lace sleeves, and very full long skirt. Buttons are very small and star shaped. There is a hook and eye at the collar. Metal size zipper.
On model, under the sheer lace dress there is a light blue acetate satin gown, sleeveless with size zip.
The blue satin under dress measures: 32" max bust, 24" waist, 57" long
The ivory lace over dress measures: 32" max bust, 25" waist, 59" long 24.5" sleeve, 14" shoulder. Mannequin is 5'8", model is 5'1" and wearing tall wedge shoes.
I would consider the condition of the dress and under dress quite good.
FLAWS: the bottom hem of the lace dress is raw, it has simply been cut, not hemmed. It is relatively straight cut and does not look bad, though you may want to hem to suit your height. Lace is a bit uneven in color: very light yellowing/darkening of lace scattered throughout, at shoulder of one sleeve for example. Did not come out with cleaning.
