    This listing is for an original 1915 Western Union Telegram from U.S. Attorney Burton K. Wheeler to the U.S. Marshal in Cincinnati, Ohio. The telegram says to subpoena an individual, and not subpoena another. I included Burton K. Wheeler's bio below. The telegram was two hole punched, and has some wear, soiling and small tears as shown in the photo. It still displays nicely.     Burton K. Wheeler was one of Montana's most famous Democrats and was considered a champion of organized labor. He supported Thomas J. Walsh's winning bid for the Senate in 1912 and was rewarded with a U. S. Attorney appointment. He ran for governor of Montana but lost the election by a large margin to fellow progressive Joseph M. Dixon. At 31, Wheeler became the nation's youngest federal district attorney. The Missoulian newspaper's list of the 100 most influential Montanans of the past century ranks him in seventh place.
